What is the Intersection?

Intersection building

The Intersection is a meeting place for young and old, black and white, students and professionals, churched and unchurched, rich and poor. Connecting people across generational, racial and economic lines, in a safe, caring environment builds the fabric of a healthy community. The focus of this healthy community is building developmental assets such as responsibility, service, goal setting, and self-restraint into young lives.

Each life is a unique thread made stronger through positive relationships with others. Every thread, unbroken and unique, woven with others to form the strong fabric of a healthy community.

Who can Participate?

All generations can participate in age appropriate Intersection activities. All participants support the  40 Developmental Assets as the goal of our activities and the values that govern behavior at the The Intersection. These values are not limited to any particular religion or faith. No person will be discriminated against based upon race, religion or sex.
